Basket Ball – Saraswati Vidayala

DSO office organized Inter school U-14 B/G, U-17 B?G Basket ball competition at DSO Basketball court, at Mankapur, Nagpur.
U -17 Boys stood 4^th place & Girls stood 3^rd place.
U – 17 Boys lost their 2^nd Match & Girls stood 3^rd place.
Following students got selected for division level.
U-24 Girls – Ku. Aditi Fadnavis, Boys – Mas. Shreyas Sahare.
U – 17 Girls – Ku. Bhagyashree Kolwadhar.
In the division level selection on trials Miss. Bhagyashree Kolwadkar got selected for state level Basketball selection trials to be held at Amravati.
Our school students of Basket Ball participated in the Basket Ball League tournament of U- 14 category in which, Ku. Ruchika Shende, Ku. Riya Khaparde got Best Promising Player of the tournament.
Junior college team participated in the DSO competition and reached up to semi final level.
1^st Sept to 9^th Sept: DSO Basketball Tournament was held at Shivaji Nager. U-14 Boy & Girls stood 4^th in their category. Miss. T.Rajshree and Mast.Abhishek Deshmukh were selected for Division Level trials, held at Nagpur for 14^th 16^th Sept 15. U-17 Girls stood 3^rd in the Tournament. Mas. Manu Sanodia and Miss. Bhagyashree Kolwadkar were selected for the Division Level trials.
Miss. T.Rajshree and Miss. Bhagyshree Kolwadkar have been selected for state level selection trials to be held on 5^th October 2015.
27/8/2014 to 29/8/214: DSO U-14 Boys/Girls. Both B/G/Teams lost Semi-Finals. Mahatma Gandhi Inter School Basketball Tournament.

All the students got selected for DSO State Level Basketball trails which was held at Aurangabad.
Ku. Pritha Mukherjee XB and Mas. Amit Chourasiya participated in the state level basketball selection trials held at Aurangabad.
10-1-15 :

Francisco Garcia, International Basketball Coach from Spain, currently the coach of Indian Basketball women’s team visited our school. He was welcomed with a floral bouquet an interaction session between Francisco Gorcia and the students was held wherein the students asked him questions related to the game of Basketball. Further he demonstrated a few skills and techniques to improvise the game of Basketball.
Inter School Girls Basket ball tournament organized by the Times of India group ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ basis in which our school conducted two 3 league matches. 1 Third Place Match & Final Match of the tournament played on 18-2-15 between COPS Katol Road and Bhavan’s Shrikrishna Nagar Branch. For prize distribution programme ceremony Mumbai MP & President of Maharashtra State Basket Ball Association Ms.Poonam Mahajan was the chief guest, along with the Ex-Standing committee chairman NMC Shri Sandip Joshi, Shri.S.Praburaman H.M. presided over the function. Times official, teachers and students were present for the function .
