SOUTH INDIAN EDUCATION SOCIETY
With a vision to provide education to the South Indian Community in the Orange City of Nagpur, Late Shri Rao Bahadur A. Vasudev Mudaliar started a small Tamil Mixed School in 1894 at Sitabuldi with just seven students on the roll which was granted recognition a decade later. Following the footsteps of the founder, the governing body 'SOUTH INDIAN EDUCATION SOCIETY' considered the task as a noble cause to the society and continued to contribute till date. Presently there are 4200 students from Nursery to Junior College and 170 teaching and non-teaching staff.

Our South Indian Education Society is Celebrating his 125th years of foundation day in the present year. Commensurate to the said celebration the South Indian Education Society, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur is holding walkathon & Run for Education of the children, Ex. Alumni members and other senior members of the society on Saturday the 29th September 2018 at 6.00 AM to 7.00 AM.
