Deworming Program
On 4th December 2024, a deworming program was successfully conducted at Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Junior College under the directives of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and the Nagpur Urban Primary Health Center, Telangkhedi. The initiative was carried out in alignment with the National Deworming Day guidelines issued by Dr. Nitin Anwadekar, Director of Health Services, Pune. A total of 102 students from classes V, VI, and VII were administered Albendazole tablets as per the recommended dosage. The details of students who benefited from the campaign on December 4, 2024, were as follows:
- Class V: 189 students
- Class VI: 160 students
- Class VII: 218 students
- Class VIII: 154 students
- Class IX: 158 students
- Class X: 135 students
T.T. injection campaign
A T.T. injection campaign was successfully conducted at Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Junior College, Shankar Nagar, on 15th December 2024, in collaboration with the Nagari Primary Health Center (UPHC), Telangkhedi, under the guidance of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. The objective of the campaign was to immunize students of Classes 5th, 6th, 9th, and 10th against tetanus and related infections as part of a health initiative. Approximately 400 students participated in the campaign and received T.T. injections under strict medical supervision, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols. The campaign was well-received, with active participation from students and staff, and parents appreciated the efforts made to protect their children’s health. The event concluded on a positive note with gratitude expressed to the medical team and school authorities for their support and cooperation.
