South Indian Education Society

With a vision to provide education to the South Indian Community in the Orange City of Nagpur,Late Shri Rao Bahadur A. Vasudev Mudaliar started a small Tamil Mixed School in 1894 at Sitabuldi with just seven students on the roll which was granted recognition a decade later.Following the footsteps of the founder, the governing body 'SOUTH INDIAN EDUCATION SOCIETY' considered the task as a noble cause to the society and continued to contribute till date. Presently there are 4200 students from Nursery to Junior College and 170 teaching and non-teaching staff.

The mission of Saraswati Vidyalaya, Nagpur is to empower our students to reach their full potential while developing discipline, patience, confidence, tolerance and respect. We believe in nurturing character which helps for the development of the mind, body and spirit to become a global responsible citizen.
